What if the COPPA doesn't apply to the country?
There is no way to verify how old someone actually is when the account is created, is there? Anyone can put down their "birthday" and send it to an email of an adult, or one they created for the sole purpose of creating an account here. I thought about it myself and tried it. No, I am not younger than required, I just wanted to test it out. I created a DeviantArt account and sent to my new email which required nothing but full name, birth, address, and a test of that handicap thing. And I was in. I canceled the account immediately, but what I am saying is that it is way too easy and simple to create a false age.
