I'm sorry if this shows up in your message center again! I'm editing the image in hopes that'll force it to update on my userpage properly. Carry on!

This is Serilli, Kidd's buckskin horse.
He's a mean old brute who would nip ya as soon as look at ya. But he loves Kidd. She's the only one he shows any kind of affection for. He enjoys spending lazy days in the sun, soaking in mud or eating Cooper's expensive leather boots whenever he's careless enough to leave them out. Which isn't necessarily Serilli's favorite passtime but something about Coop's saddened face when he sees fresh chew marks amuses him greatly. Kidd is convinced Serilli's been touched by a higher power just because he's been around far longer than natural. It's a wonder he's lived through half of what he's seen. :D

I did take some artistic liberties in this piece. I made his head a little wider up top and longer in the snout because it gives him personality. He looks as thick-headed physically as he is mentally. Also I gave him a more 'human' eye than you would find on a real horse. As far as my own crits of this goes... I really don't have any! I'm honestly very happy with how this turned out. Well, the border is a little cheesy but that's okay.

But if you got crits please lemme have em!

Oh yeah, for those of ya who are new watchers: Kidd, Cooper and Serilli are characters in the book i'm writing. You can find pics of Kidd and Coop all over my gallery. Thanks for lookin, guys!

 Eeheee...I love horses, you know? I think they are very beautiful animals. I love to look at them when they are running (or well, actually, when they are doing just about anything).
It makes me a bit sad that I haven't been able to ride in a looooong time. There just isn't stables good enough around here. All the instructors in the near stables are blinded by money, so it isn't too nice to ride there.
Aww, but I like your border ideas :)

Whem I was a kid i took horse riding lessons at a nearby stable. There was one horse I loved, called Star. Star was almost like, MY horse (pony), but one Saturday morning I went to get her out of the field for a ride and she bit my face. I was so embarrassed that i hid for the nest two hours in the back of a barn.
My sister came to pick me up, and when she eventually found me, hiding and crying in that smelly dark barn she was as upset as i was. Beverly (my big sis) took me to the hospital for a tetanus injection straight away. I still have a small scar. I never went horse riding again after that, and have since had a small fear of horses, even though my Mother bred them during the later years of my life.
The funny thing about all this is that Star wasn't really the one that bit, as it turns out, it was Lady. Ahorse known for her ill temper and aggressiveness. Shame, i really loved ol' Star!
Anyway, my point to all this is that you Crotchety Old Man reminds me alot of Lady. He has the same eye(s), this will forever haunt me!
Well done, it's brilliant.
