XD i LOVE this. i am a HUGE fan of horses. this reminds me *so much* of my horse i used to have, Coyote. he was a crotchety ol'guy. he hated everyone except me. and took off with/ignored/bit at everyone else X3 -- this is so wonderful. i love the expression like "heh, teach ya to leave boots out, eh??" You drew it with pencils? Wow... An achievement!
-- [TomOrRoW's RAin Will WASh AwaY tHE StaINS] It makes me a bit sad that I haven't been able to ride in a looooong time. There just isn't stables good enough around here. All the instructors in the near stables are blinded by money, so it isn't too nice to ride there. Aww, but I like your border ideas
-- YOU! CAKE OR DEATH! -- The sacred cows have come home to roost with a vengeance. Heheh.. Funny! I like yer style
Whem I was a kid i took horse riding lessons at a nearby stable. There was one horse I loved, called Star. Star was almost like, MY horse (pony), but one Saturday morning I went to get her out of the field for a ride and she bit my face. I was so embarrassed that i hid for the nest two hours in the back of a barn.
My sister came to pick me up, and when she eventually found me, hiding and crying in that smelly dark barn she was as upset as i was. Beverly (my big sis) took me to the hospital for a tetanus injection straight away. I still have a small scar. I never went horse riding again after that, and have since had a small fear of horses, even though my Mother bred them during the later years of my life. The funny thing about all this is that Star wasn't really the one that bit, as it turns out, it was Lady. Ahorse known for her ill temper and aggressiveness. Shame, i really loved ol' Star! Anyway, my point to all this is that you Crotchety Old Man reminds me alot of Lady. He has the same eye(s), this will forever haunt me! Well done, it's brilliant.
