Okay, one last holidays related pic this year. There's only days left so I figured that was enough excuse to do as many cheesy holidays pics as possible.
 This time i've completely bastardized Calvin and Hobbes. I don't think I got the characters right. However, I think that's all due to the wonderful vision we've had of them for so long. Putting them in my style (much like the Peanuts) just doesn't seem to do them justice. But it was fun giving it a go anyway. I used a little reference. Mostly for Calvin's winter clothes and for which horrific snowman I wanted to use!  The two headed one has always been my favorite... that and the one with the icecream scoop in his back. That's just delightfully sick.Calvin looks a lot like my little brother did at that age. It's almost creepy.  As always, if you got any crits, lemme have them! And despite what I might think I did to them, please enjoy this one last holidays pic. I truly hope you guys had a wonderful year and here's to many more to come. Thanks for lookin!  I've noticed that, for some reason, the kids you draw sorta look like trolls.
I'm not sure why, but I think it might have something to do with the size of their faces. If you made them a bit smaller, leaving more room for the forehead and skull, then maybe that would balance it out? And you gave Hobbes Roger Rabbit's feet (you thought I wouldn't notice, didn't you?). Tigers and all other four legged creatures have even-sized paws, unlike rabbits. -- "Once we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall over like a house of cards.
